Watercress (Nasturtium officinale) - is a fast-growing, aquatic or semi-aquatic, perennial plant. Watercress contains significant amounts of iron, calcium, iodine, and folic acid, in addition to vitamins A and C. it acts as diuretic and a digestive aid.


Waterhyssop extract

Waterhyssop extract (Bacopa monnieri) is derived from a perennial, creeping herb. Bacopa monnieri has many chemical constituents including alkaloids, saponins and flavonoids. It also contains significant amounts of betulic acid. It enhances antioxidant defences, can significantly improve cognitive ability and enhance memory.


Wheat germ extract

Wheat germ extract - is a concentrated extract of wheat germ derived from the germ of the wheat plant. It has anticancer, antimetastatic, and immunomodulatory effects. It may also play a role in reducing cardiovascular symptoms due to chronic hypertension, diabetes and obesity.


White Oak bark

White Oak bark (Quercus alba)obtained from the White Oak, internal astringent. It is used to treat diarrhea and vomiting. It contains tannins and has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.


Wild Yam root

Wild Yam root (Dioscorea villosa) - is native to and found growing wild in North America, contains active ingredient diosgenin. It increases energy levels, lowers blood cholesterol. Diosgenin has been shown to increase skin thickness and may be a potentially useful aesthetic supplement for skin care pending future evidence.


Yerba Mate leaf

Yerba Mate leaf (Ilex paraguariensis) – tree that growths in South America rainforest. The leaves of the rainforest mate tree naturally contain 24 vitamins and minerals, 15 amino acids, abundant antioxidants. Yerba mate contains caffeine, theophylline, and theobromine, well-known stimulants. Yerba Mate has the "strength of coffee, the health benefits of tea, and the euphoria of chocolate" all in one.


Yucca schidigera

Yucca schidigera is a medicinal plant native to Mexico. According to folk medicine, yucca extracts have anti-arthritic and anti-inflammatory effects. The plant contains several physiologically active phytochemicals. It is a rich source of steroidal saponins, and is used commercially as a saponin source. Saponins have diverse biological effects, including anti-protozoal activity. It has been postulated that saponins may have anti-arthritic properties by suppressing intestinal protozoa which may have a role in joint inflammation. Yucca is also a rich source of polyphenolics, including resveratrol and a number of other stilbenes (yuccaols A, B, C, D and E). These phenolics have anti-inflammatory activity.


Zinc

Zinc (gluconate) - is an essential mineral. Zinc is involved in numerous aspects of cellular metabolism. It is required for the catalytic activity of approximately 100 enzymes and it plays a role in immune function, protein synthesis, wound healing, DNA synthesis and cell division.
